Start with a complete record

Admissions

Admissions begins the relationship between a school and a new family. A school-specific admissions page collects the information staff need to review an application and continue the record inside SchoolBase.

What this area does

Admissions can create the student and guardian records that later power classes, fees, attendance, results, and parent access.

Configurable admissions availability
Applicant, student, guardian, medical, and prior-school information
Student photo upload and application status lookup
Admin review, status management, and approved-application conversion

The workflow

How admissions works

01

The applicant opens the school’s admissions page while admissions are enabled and within the configured dates.

02

They select a class and submit applicant, student, guardian, medical, previous-school, and photo information.

03

The application receives a status that can be looked up using the available status flow.

04

School staff review the application, update its status, and convert approved applications into student and guardian records where supported.
